The dispute around the kiss of Udit Narayan :
As he sang his well-known 1990s song Tip Tip Barsa Paani from the action blockbuster Mohra, the well-known musician was seen kissing female fans back in the widely shared video.
One of the videos that went viral at the time showed Narayan pleading with the security guards to allow a female fan who was taking selfies to approach the stage. Narayan was seen dipping his head and kissing her on the lips as the fan leaned in to kiss him on the cheek as she approached him to take a picture with him.
Numerous social media users referred to Narayan’s move as “inappropriate” and sought an apology. Others backed the singer, claiming that the woman was the one who first planted the kiss.

Udit Narayan had told HT, “Fans itne deewane hote hain na,” in reaction to the criticism. Fans are insane, but we’re not. Hum log aise nahi hain, hum respectable log hain. We’re good people. Some individuals support this and use it as a way to express their affection. We have security here, and there are a lot of people in the crowd. Fans, however, believe they are having a chance to meet, so they stretch their hands to shake hands, and some even kiss them. This is all crazy. Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye. One should not focus too much on it.
Additionally, the singer disclosed that the video was created two years ago. The music is matlab. “Ye bhi ek ittefaq hai ki abhi hi ye release hona tha.” Australia ka jo aap abhi dekh rahe hai, waise 2 saal pehle ka video hai.” The music’s current release is a coincidence. According to Udit Narayan, the viral video is actually two years old and originated in Australia.
