“I put in a lot of effort and followed the text exactly. However, nothing seemed to work when it came to obtaining a job,” she posted on Instagram. I used the internet to apply to more than 2,000 jobs. Rejection after rejection.

Kukreja took matters into her own hands after being repeatedly rejected. She started distributing copies of her resume at each “restaurant, bar, and cafe” she went to after printing it off. She applied in person more than 100 times, but to no avail.

She shared her experience on Instagram, where she goes by the handle @aditi.kukrejaa, and admitted that she found it “a little embarrassing to admit” that she was turned down by McDonald’s.

“While still looking for a job, I applied for the Shift Leader position at McDonald’s in the hopes of gaining some managerial experience,” Kukreja told.
