About RCB : The former left-arm spinner claimed that RCB’s strategy of concentrating exclusively on two or three players was ineffective in helping them win the trophy.

Shadab Jakati, a former spinner for the Chennai Super Kings, talked about his stint with Royal Challengers Bengaluru and offered his opinion on why they haven’t taken home an IPL crown. After beginning his IPL career at CSK, Jakati joined RCB in the 2014 season, although he played just one game and didn’t get many opportunities. One of the three teams that hasn’t taken home an IPL title since the competition’s start is RCB. Virat Kohli and other international players have been crucial to the Bengaluru-based team’s success, but thus far, the strategy hasn’t worked out well.

About RCB

As a member of CSK’s 2010 and 2011 IPL winning teams, Jakati talked about his experience with RCB, which was different from his former squad. The former left-arm spinner claimed that RCB’s strategy of concentrating exclusively on two or three players was ineffective in helping them win the trophy.About RCB

It’s a cooperative game. The team must perform as a cohesive unit if it hopes to win trophies. The trophy cannot be won by two or three players. Chennai boasted numerous good foreign players in addition to a strong core of Indian players. Getting your combination is crucial. They would only concentrate on two or three players when I was at the RCB,” Jakati told Sportskeeda.

Speaking about the different cultures in the two teams’ dressing rooms, Jakati boldly asserted that he didn’t see any camaraderie among the RCB players.

“There was a significant improvement in the atmosphere of the dressing room and team management. Although the players were excellent, Jakati continued, “there was no camaraderie and the players did not gel properly.”

“CSK took good care of their players.”(About RCB)

Jakati, who took the vital wicket of Sachin Tendulkar in the 2010 IPL final, claimed that the CSK management gave their players the attention they needed, which set them apart from the RCB.

“As previously said, the team manager plays a very important role. In actuality, Chennai’s management was excellent. They took good care of their guys. These are the minor details that have a significant impact. Thus, these are the distinctions between CSK and RCB that I saw,” he continued.

Over the years, RCB has released players like KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Mohammed Siraj, and Yuzvendra Chahal because they have placed a significant bet on Virat Kohli among Indian players. They have, however, adopted a somewhat different strategy this year and appointed Rajat Patidar as their new captain.
